A total lunar eclipse is scheduled to take place on January 20-21, 2019. People are calling this eclipse a super blood wolf moon. Some prophecy teachers claim that this is a sign of the end times indicating that the rapture will take place soon. The verse they often quote to support is Joel 2:31, NKJV, which says, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” However, total lunar eclipses happen on an average of three times a year, and they have been occurring since the beginning of time.
